Imagine you've spent a week full of adventures and happy moments. Detoxed from the internet and devices. Your mind is clear. Problems seem insignificant now. You're ready to solve them or let them go. You sigh with relief. A happy smile on your face.
This is the moment when you notice a line of nine dots in the sky. You stare at it in bewilderment for a couple of moments, unable to believe your eyes. You feel disoriented by the surreal situation. Once it disappears over the horizon, you rush for your phone and discover it's an art piece. Questions start pouring into your head:
What does it mean?
Who is asking for help? God? Spaceship Earth? Humanity? The Artist? You?
Who is the saviour?
Was it always there?
What an overseas person would think?
If it is order among chaos, why is it asking for help?
Now you cannot live same way as before, the reminder is always above you.
Nice! But how? Technical details
We gonna use Starlink satellites with internet equipment stripped off. These satellites are already launched in “trains” (batches) that expand over time. We just need the train to stay 34 km long forever. We gonna get the biggest art project ever produced and the most technologically complex one.
How much would it cost to build?
Estimated cost of R&D, Manufacturing and launch is $47.2 - $55.2 million (see here). Yes it is the most expensive art work in history. Which is fine for the art world. Damien Hirst's "For the Love of God” was $20-30m to produce and Leonardo da Vinci's "Salvator Mundi" was sold for $450.3 m (more here).
